Packing is tough, risky task and skillful task and cannot be accomplished by any Tom, Dick and Harry. But anybody can acquire skills of packing by learning some effective tips of packing goods. This article will teach you packing process to easy pack goods in 10 minutes. After learning these tips you will surely pack goods of your home and can make the relocation process smooth.

Get Prepared and Organized

• Gather packing boxes, cartons, tapes, adhesive and other packing supplies and some packing equipments. Some of the equipment may be in your home like scissors, knife, screw, hammer, etc. Make these items handy.
• Put the boxes and other packing supplies in the respective rooms for which they have been brought. If you can manage to empty a room, them make a room vacant and keep all boxes together. This room will be your packing junction.
• Buy markers of different colors for labeling packed cartons. Use separate colors for separate rooms. Color coding will be helpful for you during rearranging. You can use distinct color code for box containing fragile items. The red color can be apt symbolizing ‘danger –handle with care’.
• Also bring cushioning materials, filling materials like foam, old newspaper, pieced of old clothes, etc

Pack It Now

• Firstly pack things that are kept on attic of your room.
• Now pack off season clothes, sporting goods and appliances used in off seasons.
• Then pack clothes leaving some 4-5 pieces to be used during this period.
• Label the box as soon as you pack with detailed description so that it can prove helpful during rearranging.
• Do not pack so many cartons at a time. Pack one by one. After filling one carton, make it seal packed before starting filling items in next carton. It will save you from disorder.
• Do not try to all goods in a day. Gradually pack goods otherwise you will get overwhelmed and exhausted.
• Pack small items in small cartons. Do not pack so many small items in a big carton. It will create mess at the time of rearranging.
• Wrap each item before packing. You soft cover to wrap goods. Wrap breakable and scratch prone items in bubble wrapper.
• Before packing electronic appliances like refrigerator, washing machine, AC, cooler, Dish washer, etc make them dry and wrap them in blanket.
• Empty the fuel fro, inverter, gas cylinder, etc before packing them. It is for safety reason.
